T.G.I.F. (Thank Goodness It’s Friday)

Come join friends on a wild and fun Friday night at the Y. Teens are given the chance to play basketball, swim, rock climb or chill out at the Teen Center. TGIF is a perfect opportunity to make new friends while having fun in a safe environment.

LEADERS CLUB  (11-15yrs. old)

Leaders Club is one of the YMCA’s most intensive and comprehensive teen programs, providing club members with opportunities for leadership training, personal growth, service to others, and social development. Members meet on a weekly basis in small groups, working closely with their peers and a counselor on skill and character   building activities, as well as on planning and organizing club projects. 

All programs provide a safe haven for young people to become confident and competent adults with a sense of belonging in their community, and promote and enhance the personal growth and social skills of young people in order to develop leaders who will be a positive force in their communities. By connecting with adult     advisers, teens have role models and mentors who can have a positive impact on their lives.

THE TEEN CENTER “DROP OFF”

Designed for the everyday teenager who just wants to relax and play with their friends. The Teen Center allows teens the opportunity to meet new people while increasing their social skills. Teens can hang out, play games or surf the web. Parents, have no worries because teens will be safe and surrounded by great role models.

Entrance to center is free to members and just $5 for non members. 
Open to ages 11 - 17.

Mon., Tues., and Thur:   5:00 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Wed:                            4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Fri:                               5:30 p.m. -9:00 p.m.

TEEN  CENTER  BIRTHDAY  PARTIES

Have your next teen party or special event here at our Teen Center. Accomodated with video games, a popcorn and slushy machine, and a pool table, it has something for everyone.

Fee:                             $40/per hour - Minimum of 2 hours

Extra Fees: Popcorn machine, slushy machine, and DJ services
