WHAT'S NEW AT THE Y

WINTER WEATHER POLICY
1. If the Hazleton Area School District has a morning delay, classes before 12:00 p.m. will be canceled.
2. If the Hazleton Area School District is closed, all classes are canceled until 4 p.m. A decision will be made by 2:00 p.m. in regards to all evening classes.
3. If the Hazleton Area School District has an early dismissal, a decision will be made by 2:00 p.m. in regards to all classes.
4. If Weatherly Area School District is closed, has a delay or early dismissal all of TerrY Shortway’s classes will be canceled.
5. If Crestwood Area School District is closed, has a delay or an early dismissal all of Maria Caldwell’s class will be canceled.
6. In case of late afternoon or evening inclement weather, the status of all classes will be determined by the CEO, Aquatic Director and Fitness Director.

Notification of Cancellations:
1. Please follow the Hazleton Area School District cancellations and closings.
2. Please check the following for cancellations:
        WAZL Radio Station 
        WBRE TV Station
        Text Alerts (sign up at the Hazleton Area School District website)
        Local News Channel 13 TV Station
        Facebook (Hazleton YMCA and YWCA)
3. Please call the Hazleton YMCA/YWCA if you are unsure about your class cancellation. 570-455-2046
