GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

At the Hazleton YMCA/YWCA we are committed to the welfare of the whole person. We strive to benefit the spirit, mind and body of all people attending our Group Exercise Classes. We provide opportunities for building friendship and community and a sense of well-being, self confidence, improved health in addition to the benefits of healthy heart, lungs, muscles and bones.

NEW: PILOXING
This class uniquely mixes pilates and boxing into a fat blasting and muscle toning workout.

Y CYCLE (FREE for members)
You will be propelled through a heart pounding, simply drenching cardio workout that will challenge your body without the high impact that can sometimes wear and damage joints. This class is easily modified to cater to beginners and as well as elite athletes

Don't forget your hand towel and water bottle!

Each class will use different elements of strength, conditioning and endurance to challenge any level of fitness.

HI LO AERO (FREE for members)
A hi/lo cardio class with intermediate to advanced choreography set to popular music. The modifiable cardio workout is supplemented with challenging abdominal work.

HALF-N-HALF (FREE for members)
Thirty minutes of cardio and thirty minutes of safe and effective strength training create a will rounded work out.

AB SOLUTION (FREE for members)

A quick, but intense answer to strengthening weak abdominal and lower back muscles.

ENERGIZE (FREE to members)
This class will help you remain strong and independent with simple choreographed cardio routines, safe and effective stength training and conditioning and rejuvenating with relaxaion work.

STEP & SCULPT (FREE for members)

You will strengthen muscles and burn fat in this simple choreographed step aerobic class. The motivating instructor and lively music will keep you inspired as you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
